Many who attended have supported the event over the past 13 years and the players not only put in a fine effort on the course, but also put their hand in their pockets to support the annual event for the East Grampians Health Service.
This year $3,586 was raised.
All money will go towards the purchase of a Vital Signs Monitor for the use in the Inpatient Unit at EGHS.
At the presentations EGHS community liaison officer Danny Drake acknowledged the great support of the Chalambar Golf Club and their members and staff.
Mr Drake also thanked the sponsorship for this year's event including Kings Cars Ararat, Melbourne Parkview Hotel, Ace Radio, David O Jones Mitre 10 Ararat, Advantage Pharmacy Ararat, AME Systems, Landmark Harcourts Ararat, Jerrams Auto Parts and Electronics, Fosters Mensland and Harvey Norman Ararat.
The Kings Cars hole-in-one on the 18th didn't go off this year, but Mr Drake said hopefully a golfer will win the brand new car on offer next year.
The winners of the Melbourne Parkview Hotel prizes on the day for the three person ambrose was David Jennings, Matt Summers and Sam Cronin.
Ladies' winners were Kaye Powell, Lyn Faneco and Nola Mahoney.
The 3WM MIXXFM and The Weekly Advertiser Corporate Challenge was won by Billy Cairns, Craig Lennie and Lloyd Grice representing 75BC.
Other results on the day included longest drive Matt Skinner (men's) and Mahoney (ladies), while nearest the pins went to Ashley Heard (2nd), Skinner (6th), Jamie Dowling (8th), Greg Kerr (16th) and Peter Gemmola (18th).
The organising committee of Ian Tucker, John Shaw, Peter Gemmola, Tim Cronin, Neil Brehaut and Danny Drake wished to thank all involved in making the day such a success from the golfers, the veterans, the sponsors, Chalambar's catering team and the volunteers - a great effort all round.
