Hooves and hats went flying at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Saturday, July 12 as the Brendon Clark Invitational got into full swing.
The annual event, named after retired Morpeth bull-riding champion Brendon Clark, draws some of the top names of the sport into the Hunter a week ahead of the Australian National Finals in Sydney.
Newcastle Herald photographer Marina Neil captured some of the action as the bulls brought the buck to Broadmeadow.
If you have a photo from the event, tweet it to @fairfaxregional or post it on Facebook.
