Taking on Bacchus Marsh at Wendouree Reserve, the Storm burst out of the blocks in the opening quarter with Meghan Wik (four goals) dominant in the forward line.
Ararat held a 26-point lead by quarter time, however scoring was hard to come by in the second term and the Storm only extended its buffer by two points at halftime.
It was another strong quarter from the Storm in the third as Alysha Bettels and Shani Giffin gave the side plenty of run, while Georgia Anderson was hard at it as the margin blew out to 56 points.
Ararat coach Will Bell said his team didn't let up in the final term, with Mikaela Turvey and Ayesha Nicholson leading from the front in the 10.9 (69) to 0.1 (1) victory.
"Mikaela, our Horsham recruit was named best afield winning contests all over the ground and giving first use to her team mates, and Ayesha Nicholson was second best on because she played on at all stages, hitting up targets by foot all over the field," Bell said.
Ararat now sits ninth on Ballarat Football League Youth Girls' ladder.
Bell said Storm's round six win came after weeks of impressive performances.
"I have seen the improvement from round one to now, the girls are developing along nicely and following the game style Olivia (Miocic, assistant coach) and I have put in place," he said.
"The win was bound to happen, the girls have worked really hard and deserved reward for the effort they have put in, so we are stoked for them.
"All of them did their job and did their team mates and coaches proud. We had great support from all players' parents and club supporters who travelled from all over western Victoria to cheer on the girls each week thanks for your support."
