With winter to hit on Sunday enjoy one last day of Autumn sunshine today, because patchy rain is expected tomorrow. There is some morning fog out there at the moment, but that will clear for a top of 17 degrees today to end your working week.


Due to Regional Rail Link works, coaches will replace trains between Melbourne and Ballarat from today through to Sunday. Trains will continue to operate between Ballarat and Ararat/Maryborough.

It's 65 Roses Day - annual fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Victoria. Tin shakes will be located at the intersections of High and Vincent and Vincent and Barkly Streets today from 8am to 5pm, so if you’re driving around town on Friday, make sure you drop some coins into the tins.
