Riding 1800 kilometres from Melbourne to Adelaide and back Mr Gomm stopped at the Ararat offices during his trip where he was presented with a cheque for $200.
With five of G J Gardner Homes' offices across Victoria donating a total of $1000, the funds will directly contribute to the Asthma Foundation of Victoria's education, resources and research programs.
Managing director of G J Gardner Homes Victoria and Tasmania, Ross Morley, said he was proud to be affiliated with this cause,
"It is inspiring to see a young person in our community like Rob dedicating such a significant amount of time to support The Asthma Foundation," Mr Morley said.
"G J Gardner Homes was delighted to be involved in this fundraising endeavour."
Mr Gomm said his interstate ride is an example of how one person can make a difference by standing up for a cause they care about.
"The generous contribution by G J Gardner Homes Ararat will directly benefit a cause that is very close to my heart," he said.
"As someone who suffered from severe asthma attacks as a child, it is important for me to give back to others who are going through similar health challenges and G J Gardner Homes has helped make this possible."
Mr Gomm began his ride on Christmas Eve and completed his journey on January 10.
With asthma affecting more than two million Australians, it is still one of the leading causes of hospitalisations in children and young people.
