A giant Santa assembled with hay bales, materials and props including the black backdrop of a photography studio as pants has made an appearance on the family's property.
Dominique Conboy said the displays are sometimes 12 months in the making with husband Cameron beginning the brainstorming at the start of the year.
"My husband came up with the idea - I think he starts thinking about it in January, coming up with ideas and thinking about how to make them work," she said.
"He always gets the kids involved. He puts so much thought ahead of time into it, it would be great if he did the same with my birthday.
"My birthday is November 22, which when it came around this year he apologised that he hadn't had time to shop for me, yet three weeks earlier he had been to Spotlight buying red fabric for Santa - which didn't go up until the first week of December."
In previous years the Conboys have incorporated an old red paddock bomb car into a display, often with Santa or the elves driving, and loading it up with presents.
"We have spent the last two weekends carting the rest of the hay bales from the paddock up to the shed, and we saw cars stopped to take pictures, at least one every 15 minutes.
"Last year someone even left us a note saying how much they enjoy our displays each year. They said they live in Waubra and always try to make the trip past to see what we have done each year.
"It is a lot of fun, the only challenge now is coming up with something new each year ."
