LAKE BOLAC - Callum Baker has finished his secondary school education on a high note by being named Lake Bolac College dux.

Mr Baker was one of five students who completed their Victorian Certificate of Education at the rural school this year and topped the class with an ATAR score of 86.3.
Mr Baker said he completed Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Math Methods and in English in 2013 and Physics and Design and Technology in 2012.
"I got the text message with my results on Monday morning and was pretty happy," he said.
"I was sort of aiming for around that, but still wasn't expecting it."
The 18-year-old said he would study engineering at Federation University in Ballarat next year.
New Lake Bolac P-12 College principa, George Porter said Mr Baker was a great example of what can be achieved through hard work.
"I am only new to the school, so I don't know Callum that well, but comments from staff are that he is a very dedicated student who is mature for his age and will succeed in whatever he chooses to do," he said.
"Overall we were very pleased, there were some outstanding results from this year's group."
