Ararat - Ararat Police are investigating the theft of more than $6000 in farm equipment from a property in Jackson's Creek.

Sometime between 4pm on November 22 and 9am on November 23, offenders have entered a car and shed in Jackson's Creek Road, Jackson's Creek and stolen the head of a Tru-test XR3000 electric scale, a Sullivans cattle blow dryer, two brown head stalls, one black head stall and a checkerplate toolbox with dark grey hammertone paint finish and spray painted with a 'S' in red spray paint.
"Any witnesses who saw a vehicle or people acting suspiciously on the property in Jackson's Creek Road should contact Ararat Police," Acting Sergeant Matt Cashman said.
