Out at Buangor, the men played out a tight contest, with the father-son combination of Chris and Phil Hartwich, who managed to outplay Hayden Price and Doug Newberry.
Steve Jardine and Mark Fenn managed to edge out Will Hope and Jack Newberry to even out the ledger. A similar circumstance for the ladies too, as Julia Boatman and Kate Vance came out on top for Crowlands against Kim Hartwich and Sophie Dyer, while Buangor's Matilda Hope and Alison Pitcher proved too good for Alana Newberry and Annabelle Price.
