Zac Tunbridge will take the reins as a playing coach next season after joining the club before the 2021 season.
Tatyoon football director Anthony Brady said the club is pleased with the appointment.
"We advertised for the position and he put his hat in the ring," Brady said.
"He will be a playing coach for us. 2021 was his first season with Tatyoon.
"We got to know him last season, and he's a great bloke. He is enthusiastic and will bring a lot to the group.
Brady additionally announced Tunbridge had recruited three of his former teammates from Royal Park.
"We can announce three signings for next season," he said.
Zac (Tunbridge) played with them at Royal Park.
"Jay and Sam Anderson are midfielders, and Tom Quick is a utility.
"I think it is a real positive that the boys have come on board."
Brady said after finishing second this season, the Hawks are hungry to taste success.
"We would have been in the mix," he said.
"Not being able to finish this year, the boys want to get that success.
"Hopefully, we get a full season under the belt. That's the first thing. We expect to play finals again."
