For each of the last 20 years, Willaura and District Quilters has raffled a quilt to raise funds for groups such as Willaura and District Kindergarten, East Grampians Health Services, and Beyond Blue.
The group decided for 2020-21 they would fundraise for Ararat Emergency Relief, a charity that provides food, clothing, transport, and accommodation for those in need.
Through raffling a quilt and holding a community lunch, Willaura and District Quilters raised more than $4900.

"For a community like Willaura hold a huge fundraiser and send the money in our direction is very good."
About 100 people attended the fundraiser, which included a display of quilts Willaura and District Quilters had created during the past 20 years.
