No fires can be lit or be allowed to remain alight in the open air from 12.01 AM on Wednesday, 11 April 2018 until 11.59 PM the same day.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast severe fire danger conditions on Wednesday.
Forecasters expect Stawell to reach 31 degrees on a mostly sunny day with a slight chance of a shower in the evening.
BoM has predicted light winds becoming northwesterly 25 to 40 kilometres per hour in the middle of the day then tending northwest to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the evening.
The Total Fire Ban includes Horsham Rural City Council, Hindmarsh Shire, Northern Grampians Shire, West Wimmera Shire and Yarriambiack Shire.
