A final decision has not been made as to the format but Pinnacle CEO Brian Burke said whatever happens, it will still be a great experience for the group.
“The Grampians Cricket Association and council are working together and the players will receive their caps and tops before taking to the field which they will keep,” he said.
Burke said the selection process was heavily driven around player availability.
“Across Ararat and Stawell, there is probably 30 or 40 players who have played throughout the competition,” he said.
“The team has a mixture of abilitities with some of the players who had played previously unavailable on Friday.
“Whatever ends up happening, it will be an enjoyable experience and they will no doubt get a kick out of the day.”
