Competition is held on Thursdays from 4.30pm.
Boys and girls, aged five to 15, have the opportunity to compete in a variety of track and field events.
Ararat Little Athletics has reduced the price of membership for the rest of the season. The club is always looking for more assistance to provide coaching to the athletes.
New athletes can register at www.lavic.com.au and just choose Ararat as their centre. Athletes are also able to “come and try”.
Former Ararat little athlete Keelan Perry also continues to make progress, finishing with five gold medals at the Maryborough Open Day at the weekend.
Perry medalled in the under-14 1500m Walk, 100m, 200m, Javelin and the 90m Hurdles.
It was a steady warm up ahead of the Western Country Region Championships this weekend in Warrnambool.
