A male was arrested and interviewed by police for a bomb hoax which forced Stawell Secondary College into lock-down on November 23 last year.
Two emails sent to the school’s main address claimed an explosive device planted on school grounds would detonate at 2pm.
Ararat Crime Investigation Unit’s Jamie Bennett said the male, whose age could not be stated, would be charged on summons.
The suspect will face charges of false reporting and bomb hoaxing.
The first hoax email was sent at 12.40pm and the second followed at 1.36pm.
Students and staff were forced to evacuate into the science wing until detectives deemed the area safe.
No one was injured during the incident.
