About 300 junior players attended the event which included a 20m spring, an agility test and the new yoyo endurance test at Federation University on Sunday.
It is an important event for players that dream of playing at the elite level with the event used to gauge fitness levels ahead of the final squad selection.
AFL’s Wimmera football development manager Jason Muldoon said the results would not make or break a player’s chance to make the squad.
“It is more about getting a gauge of where the fitness is at for the players, gives us an idea of our strengths within the group," he said.
“The Wimmera boys tested really well, their speed and agility was strong and overall I am very happy with where the boys are at.”
The squad will train on Monday before taking a break and resuming on January 29.
