They face the Maryborough Blazers at 6pm on Saturday night, before coming up against the Castlemaine Cannons at 12pm on Sunday.
Coach Gareth Hiscock said the team was approaching the games as they would any other.
“We approach training differently, but we won’t approach the games any differently,” he said.
Hiscock expects his team to be fit enough to play both games.
“At this stage of the season you’d like to think the players are fit enough to back it up and play both games,” he said. “You don’t know what you’re going to come up against injury wise, so you can’t plan for that.”
The team has had solid victories against Maryborough, by 19 points, and Castlemaine, 43 points, so far this season. Hiscock is still expecting a challenging weekend.
“Maryborough will be a tough game, they have a pretty handy side. We had the win against them earlier in the year but they’ve improved since and had some good results,” he said. “Castlemaine have struggled a bit throughout the season, but they’re very competitive.”
Hiscock was looking forward to having a full list of players to choose from for the games.
“We have a pretty full list again this week, which is pretty surprising. It’s normally pretty hard to get everyone on the court this time of the year, so it’s really good to have everyone available,” he said.
