Linden Murray, Sam Gason and Neill Murray got the home team off to a strong start against Crowlands winning the men’s doubles 27 games to 14 to claim the opening points.
In the women’s doubles, the Crowlands trio were able to respond, accounting for Elmhurst with a 27 games to 12 result to even the set scores up going into the mixed doubles.

The mixed doubles was a close encounter in the first two sets, as Crowlands won narrowly before winning the third set 9-4 to claim the overall honours with a 68 games to 56 win.

The match between Buangor and Landsborough was cancelled due to the weather with both teams splitting the points.
Buangor sits four points clear of Landsborough with Ararat one point adrift in fifth spot after eight rounds of competition.
