The jetty featured three seats, two bait tables and solar lighting along with fenders and cleats for boats to be tied up safely.
Warracknabeal Angling Club vice president Mick Evans said the new addition would be a great asset to the community and hoped it would attract more families and children to fish.
“We have already had people fishing off it already and we hope people will begin to use it more – not just on weekend but during the week as well,” he said.
The club received a grant from the state government to complete the project.
Minister for Agriculture Jaala Pulford said the jetty would help people make the most of the waterway.
