Pomonal managed to limit the reigning premiers to build on their score when they resumed their innings on the second day of play.
Buangor added just 22 runs to their total to finish all out for 193 and with a first innings lead of 109 runs.
Having made 84 and lasted just 37 overs in the first innings, Pomonal needed to bat out nearly 60 overs to prevent their opponents from adding to their first innings victory.
Luke Jordan (64) and Sam Spark (33) worked away at the deficit and managed to take away nearly any chance of an outright win for Buangor.
The pair shared in a 106-run partnership to trail by just three runs when Spark lost his wicket.
Pomonal’s top five fired, all hitting scores of more than 20 to finish the day just six wickets down for 210 runs.
