Despite the win, it was not enough for the Rovers to move into the top five and fell short by one game to qualify for finals.
It was an even start to the match from both teams with the Rovers taking a five-point lead into the first break at Lismore.
The home team responded in the second term and took a four-point advantage into the main break.
The game continued in a similar fashion in the third term with the Demons extending their lead to 17 points at the final break.
A 10-goal final quarter burst from the Rovers put the match beyond doubt for the Demons, as the home team slipped to second position on the ladder following the loss.
Jarryd Underwood starred for the Rovers, kicking seven majors to top the goal tally across both teams.
The Rovers defence was able to limit the damage of the Demons forwards with Michael Lockyer the only multiple goalscorer with four.
Thomas Thewlis was named the Rovers’ best in the 18.5.113 to 11.9.75 win, while Brandon Greenwood was named Lismore-Derrinallum’s best.
The Rovers finish the season in sixth with 10 wins.
