The Eagles are coming off a win against Great Western and will be keen to extend their winning streak to two games after knocking off the Swans earlier in the season in Ararat.
The Swans have one win to their name from 15 games with a loss all but ensuring they finish the season with the wooden spoon.
The Eagles finished with one win in the 2016 season and a third win this year will keep the players positive they are on the right path going into another long preseason ahead of the 2018 season.
Eagles coach Brian Jenkins said in the preseason it was not necessarily about wins and losses but he would be proud of how the team has developed throughout the year.
With only one more game to follow, both teams will be trying hard to get the win.
The first bounce for the round 16 clash is scheduled for 2.15pm at Caramut Recreation Reserve.
