POLICE have warned of delays on the Western Highway after a B-double truck became bogged at St Helens Plains about 40 kilometers from Stawell on Friday afternoon.

“Please be advised of potential traffic delays on the Western Highway, St Helens Plains, near the intersection of Flat Rock Road approximately 10 kilometres east of Green Lake,” a Horsham police statement said
“A B-double prime mover and trailers have become bogged on the edge of the road and heavy haulage is recovering the vehicle.
“VicRoads crews are in attendance but it is anticipated that traffic flows in both directions will be impacted.”
Police stated at 3.46pm on Friday that the traffic impacts were likely to last for one to two hours.
“Please consider factor this into your commute along the Western highway this afternoon,” the police statement said.
