The Bulldogs are sitting a game clear in the five but with a win over the Tigers it could really strengthen their chances of maintaining that position.
The Tigers have hardly put a foot wrong all season and won’t want to stumble this far in. Sarah Cameron has been dynamic in goals for Woorndoo-Mortlake.
She is accurate, a great rebounder and is able to work the ball until she finds herself in the best position.
Bulldogs defender Linda Coutts will have her work cut out for her. She needs to apply as much defensive pressure as she can and keep tight on Cameron.
Cameron is also on the receiving end of some fantastic passes into the circle.
Nicole Anderson runs hard through the middle but is able to pass with precision into Cameron.
The Bulldogs will need their centre Amelia Dunn to put pressure on Anderson, hoping that will cause some errors in the passes.
Dunn is athletic and knowledgeable, creating strong drives down the court and getting her hands on the ball in defence.
It will be fascinating to see how Dunn and Anderson match up with the winner of that battle likely to go a long way to deciding which team takes the points.
The Rovers will go into the match as underdogs but if they can get the points, then a finals appearance will look more likely.
Match starts at 1pm.
