Chen Yunxi and Xiao Wenli will be at the school while on an 18-day cultural exchange program.
Year 8 student Melissa Sanders said hosting the visitors was a “different” experience.
“I remember doing this in China and it is so different when it is the other way around,” she said.
Melissa said the exchange helped strengthen her grasp of the Chinese language.
“It is extremely important to learn a language because the way I want to go with my career is probably based more towards a place like China,” she said.
“It creates less boundaries between countries so we can interact easier, comfortably and peacefully.”
Year 8 student Chelsea Peachey also said the cultural exchange was an eye-opening experience.
“The Chinese culture is very prevalent in today’s society, so it is good knowing i can interact with them.”
