PARKRUN has set the bar high in Ararat with 93 personal bests set in the eight weeks since it took off. The weekly run or walks around Alexandra Lake has been growing in popularity with more than 140 completing 363 parkruns and clocking a combined 1815 kilometres since the first run set off on April 22. Parkrun is a free five-kilometre timed event run worldwide for all abilities. There are more than 220 locations across Australia each Saturday morning.
