The Eagles side crossed an important goal off its list by defeating the Saints but will need to remain focused again on Saturday.
Warrack coach Ryan McKenzie said his side was confident.
“Obviously we can’t afford to have anyone rest on their laurels,” he said.
“We need to play with the same intensity and the same mindset each and every week.
“The Wimmera league is an even competition and any team can challenge anyone else if they are taken too lightly.”
The Rats will be eager to impress for a different reason following a drubbing at the hands of Minyip-Murtoa last round. A young side of players was blown off the park in the first quarter but showed character to continue fighting in the second half.
McKenzie expects the opposition to put up a good contest.
“We split our games against them last season and we match up well against each other,” he said.
“They like to play a possession style of football and we will need to work hard to not let them do that.”
The Eagles will look to capitalise on an advantage in the ruck. Shannon Argall and Scott Adams put in strong performances against the Saints.
“We’ve got two of the best ruckmen in the league,” McKenzie said. “We have no excuse in the midfield battle when they give us first use of the ball so much.”
