The Dawn Service at the Cenotaph will commence at 6am, and will be followed by a Gunfire Breakfast at the Memorial Hall.
The Willaura Lions Club is providing the breakfast and a gold coin donation would be appreciated.
The second service will begin at 9am with a Stand To at the Cenotaph, immediately followed by a march to the Memorial Hall for a commemorative service there.
Students from the Willaura district will take part in the 9am. Stand To at the Cenotaph and at the Hall service as well.
This year the community is pleased to welcome back lone bugler Geoff Morley, and the Hamilton Pipe Band.
The guest speaker at this year’s Hall Service is Mr. Robert Irvine O.A.M, from Halls Gap. He was a Junior Legatee, and is currently a member of Ararat Legacy.
Following the service in the Memorial Hall a short ceremony will be held at the Plantation Memorial, and all are invited to attend.
The Willaura Primary School Parents will provide Morning tea in the Supper Room and the community is welcome to stay and enjoy the refreshments.
