The grand final will be played on the hard courts in Willaura to avoid any home team advantage.
Top-ranked Mininera had sewn up a spot two weeks out but Skipton battled through and eventually locked down the spot after its win at the weekend.
Both teams will be fresh after Skipton’s round 15 opponent Willaura forfeited the match.
Mininera had a bye in the final round of the season.
Skipton will go into the grand final as underdogs with Mininera holding good form throughout the 15 week season.
The two teams competing in the 2016-17 decider are the the most recent association premiers with Skipton winning the title in 2016 while Mininera claimed the honours in 2015.
The fine weather should provide near-perfect conditions for both teams with an expected top temperature in the mid 20s on the day.
