Society president Dalton Cross said the show would kick off at 7pm.
“There will be a live band and a bar, with limited free pizzas,” he said.
Society life member Max Johns said a few things had changed in the 35 years he had been involved.
“The Horsham show used to be the biggest day of the year when I was young,” he said.
“Now there’s more competition from other events.”
Mr Johns said some of the show’s attractions had changed and there was no longer a boxing tent or ‘Vanessa the Undresser’.
Life member Ron Bennett said the showgrounds had expanded significantly in the 1970s with the kennel club.
“The land it’s on used to be a swamp,” he said.
