Opening batsman David Padley led the way top scoring with 46 runs as he teamed up with Robert McKinnon to put on 56 runs before McKinnon was ran out for 28.
Samuel Spark scored 21 while Matthew Grinham finished on 17 not out as Pomonal finished with 9-159 off its 45 overs.
Gary Martin was the best of the bowlers for the Gappers finishing with three wickets.
Halls Gap had a rocky start with opener Justin Harney dismissed for one while his opening partner Shane Spriggs was also dismissed for four off the bowling of Lee Oliver.
It triggered a collapse from the Gappers with only Andrew Cameron and Damien Joiner able to withstand the bowling efforts of Pomonal.
The Gappers were 7-35 with Martin backing up his bowling performance, top scoring for his team with 40 runs.
Lee Oliver claimed five wickets in the win as Pomonal claimed the points.
