Twelve club members, aged between eight and 14, travelled to the Wimmera mini swim meet.
Ararat’s Deacon Briggs starred at the event, where he broke eight District 12 mini meet records.
The 12-year-old also recorded nine personal best times across 15 events.
He finished on the podium in all 15 races including nine race wins.
Fellow Ararat swimmer Billie Donnan finished with a perfect record at the meet.
The eight-year-old won all three races she competed in, including the 50-metre backstroke and the 100-metre freestyle and breaststroke events.
Club coach Jo Donnan said the meet was a great result for the club.
"We had a fantastic meet,” she said.
"It was a good starter with it being the first meet for some of them.
“Lots of kids placed in their events and a few records were broken as well.”
Abbey Bell also won the 100-metre individual medley for nine and 10-year-olds.
She won with a time of 1.37.56.
She also claimed two third placings in the 50-metre backstroke and 25-metre butterfly races.
Jack Cameron’s worst result at the meet was fourth.
He claimed a second and three third place finishes with four fourth places to complete his carnival’s efforts.
Ivana Donnan swam personal best times in three of her four races.
Marcus Donnan competed in five races and beat his previous personal best time in the 100-metre breaststroke and 50-metre butterfly events.
Caleb Townsend finished second in the eight and under 25-metre backstroke and 25-metre freestyle races to build some early form ahead of the start of the season.
Donnan said the club would use this meet to build on performances during the season.
"We are pretty excited about what is in store for this season,” she said.
The event was the only competitive meeting for Wimmera clubs before the season starts.
The Wimmera district 12 swimming season will start on November 19 with a sprint meet at Warracknabeal.
The Ararat Swimming Club will host the final event before the district championships on February 18 at the Ararat outdoor pool.
