It was something of a life-changing experience for the students, who had the opportunity to visit a society still struggling to overcome poverty and the trauma of war. Students from Stawell Secondary College, Ararat Secondary College, Marian College and Lake Bolac College are invited to take part in a discovery tour to Cambodia in 2016.
The trip is set to run for two weeks from November 26 to December 10.
The students will visit places such as Phnom Penh, Sre Ambel and Pursat. For more information about the 2016 Cambodian trip, people can call John Launder from Rotary Club of Stawell on 5358 2171 or Peter Beales of Ararat on 0408 120 481.
