The Magpies traveled to Penshurst to take on the Penshurst Bombers in round 10 of the 2016 season.
The traveling side were slow out of the gates.
Magpies trailed to the Bombers 25-1 by the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter Magpies hit back, kicking one major and five minors and holding the Bombers to a single point before the main break.
The third quarter saw a stunning showing from both sides as the Bombers battled to stay in front and the Magpies scoring more than the home side could handle.
Magpies scored three majors and three minors to get to 33 points.
The Bombers were depleted, only scoring one major and two minors.
The final quarter opened up with both sides scoring freely in respect to the games flow.
The Magpies outscored the home side again scoring 22 points to win the match 55-50.
This will keep the side four points ahead of second placed Hawkesdale-Mcarthur and Tatyoon.
Best players for Magpies were Mark McLeod, Bailey Veale, Bradley Keilar, Richard Blackburn, Joseph Gilbert and Michael Otto.
