Ararat.holiday/gateway provides a free website for tourism related businesses to advertise what they have to offer visitors.
Lake Bolac Caravan Park owner Frank Deutsch set up the website.
Mr Deutsch said it would ensure visitors could take full advantage of what the region has to offer.
“Websites that promote this region have been mainly concerned with the mountainous are to the west of Ararat,” he said.
“Neglecting the deep history and great opportunity for sight seeing and relaxing that is offered in Ararat and surrounding small towns and villages.”
Mr Deustch said the site would benefit people not matter how long they stay in Ararat.
“There is so much to do and so much to see in the museums in Ararat,” he said.
“Such as Langi Morgala, the Railway Museum, Aradale, J-Ward and Gum San.
“If you still want to see more, you can visit the Ararat Regional Art Gallery and Performing Arts Centre.
“Then of course there are many small towns such as Pomonal, Moyston and Lake Bolac.”
He said anyone wanting to advertise their business on the website for free should email lake.bolac.caravanpark@westnet.com.au for more details.
