The event enables business owners, managers and staff to review, analyse and reflect on their procedures and structures and also provides them inspiration in moving forward with their operations.
The awards night showcased what a high standard and diverse range of businesses operate within our region.
People spoke with real passion about their businesses and for the region in which they live.
Staff were recognised as the most important element of any business which is all so true.
Congratulation to all of the category winners, a special mention to the Kookaburra Hotel on taking out the Business of the Year Award, a wonderful achievement for an iconic regional business.
With Christmas fast approaching, the Ararat Regional Business Association has been planning tonight’s late night trading event, ARBA`S representative coordinator Victoria Laugesen, owner operator of The Ararat Book Shop, has been able to bring together a night of children’s activities and entertainment with about 25 stores open to 8pm in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
Stores would welcome your patronage this Christmas season and as the awards night reiterated regional towns do offer a vast array of gift purchasing options with service.
The past year has seen many exciting developments within our region come to fruition, the partnerships formed with neighbouring business associations, the Ararat Rural City`s ongoing support of ARBA, along with their positive relationships formed with our bordering shires shows what can be achieved with a collaborative approach.
ARBA looks forward to contributing to our economic development and welcomes input from all business sectors, including our agricultural and manufacturing sectors in helping to achieve our goals.
On behalf of ARBA I would like to thank all who have supported and contributed to the well-being of our community and wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas with family and friends.
