From 5.30pm to 8pm residents will have the chance to check out the Christmas specials on offer from participating businesses.
In addition to the bargains in Barkly Street there will be a jumping castle and face painting.
Slushy, popcorn and fairy floss machines for children and the Rotary Club of Ararat are putting on a cake stall and sausage sizzle.
Even some of the popular animals from the Halls Gap Zoo will make an appearance.
The event has been jointly organised by ARBA and ARCC.
