Mr Smith finished on top of the leaderboard with 231.35 points at the end of the 2015 AFL home and away season. The Geelong supporter received $500, and a ticket into TopBetta’s $2500 grand final tournament.
Mr Smith had $1000 ‘betta bucks’ to bet with on grand final day but unfortunately he was knocked out early.
“I took Hawthorn for first score and Cyril Rioli to kick the first goal of the game, and that didn’t come off,” Mr Smith said.
“I finished seventh or eighth out of 27 and was quite happy with that.”
Mr Smith enjoyed participating in The Ararat Advertiser’s TopTippa competition, and is looking forward to entering again in 2016.
