Cronin held off Lee-Anne Moana following the decider with both players returning 36 points. B grade went to Judy Edwards on 36 points, five clear of Heather Hevey. Nearest pins winners were Lee-Anne Moana on the second and eighth holes, Liz de Fegely (6th), Nola Pugh (16th) and Sally Philip scored on the 18th.
Last Monday’s stableford was taken out by Barb Mannix on a countback from Rene Hamilton. Both players finished on 16 points.
Rene Hamilton edged out Sally Philip to win last Saturday’s ladies contest. Hamilton finished on 29 points, just one ahead of Philip. Philip was nearest to the pin on the 16th hole.
Wednesday is the first day of Chalambar tournament (men’s and ladies stableford). Start time 9am or 1pm.
