Over 140 players and club members converged on the Tatyoon Hall for the club’s night of nights, with Cameron crowned the Noel Heard Memorial best and fairest for 2015.
The Hawks coach received 71 votes from 19 senior home-and-away and finals games. The win comes just weeks after Cameron claimed the Mininera and District Football League’s best and fairest, the WJ Lewis Medal.
Sean McDougall was named runner-up in the senior vote count, polling 65 votes from 17 matches. McDougall also took home the best in finals award.
Mitchell Cronin received the nod for most consistent, Richard Tucker was most determined and Sam Thomson was named best first year player for the Hawks.
Arthur Armstrong collected the most valuable player accolade while Steven Butler won the goal kicking award, booting 74 majors in 2015. Tim Cronin earned the coach’s appreciation award.
Rhys Burger took home Tatyoon’s reserves best and fairest with 50 votes from 17 home and away and finals games.
Tim Barr finished in the runner-up position for the 2015 reserves premiers with 34 votes from 20 home and away and finals games. Barr was also equal runner up in the Mininera and District Football League reserves best and fairest vote count.
Also receiving recognition for the Hawks reserves were Sam Cronin (best in finals), Sean Arnott and Riley Wood (coach’s awards), Liam Jess (most improved) and Joshua McDougall (leading goalkicker with 65 for the season).
Lachie Marr was a runaway winner in the under 16.5 Tatyoon vote count for 2015. He received the best and fairest after polling 88 votes from second placed Tyson Marr (60).
Joe Thomson (most consistent), Joe Vallance (coach’s award) and Henry Armstrong (most improved) were all acknowledged for a strong season with the Hawks.
Will Joyce and Tyson Marr tied the leading goal kicking award with 22 majors for season 2015.
