Pekin bumped Ganley in the early stages of Saturday’s match at Horsham City Oval, leaving him unconscious and unable to take any further part in the game.
Pekin was reported for late front-on contact, red-carded and coached the rest of the Demons’ 16-point win from the sidelines.
