Bombers and Mounties will be ready and raring to go following strong wins in last Sunday’s final round of home-and-away matches.
The second placed Bombers battled Warriors and they were in control from the start, putting 26 points on the board in the first quarter.
This gave Warriors little chance of getting in the game. Even though Bombers kicked 16 behinds, they have set themselves up well to play the undefeated Mounties in a thrilling semi final this Sunday.
In the other match, Mounties and Rovers played off in a close contest. Mounties were kept on their toes, particularly when Rovers had a one point lead at the half time break. Rovers remained scoreless in the third term while Mounties managed 1.2. The final quarter saw Mounties come out to play booting 2.4 to Rovers’ 0.1.
Rovers face Warriors in their semi-final clash on Sunday.
