The WFL Commission met on Monday night to vote on the locations for this year’s finals series.
This year will mark the first time since 2007 that the Wimmera grand final will be at Warracknabeal. Warrack Eagles club president Bob Fleming said club was looking forward to the occasion.
The qualifying final will be at either Dimboola or Ararat on August 29, with the elimination final to follow at Horsham City Oval on the Sunday.
The second semi-final on September 5 will be at Nhill and the first semi-final on September 6 at either Horsham City Oval – with Horsham Saints hosting - or at Murtoa, pending which senior football teams are playing on that day.
Stawell will host the preliminary final on September 13. The grand final will be on September 19 at Anzac Park. All venues are subject to the playing surfaces being satisfactory.
