Kaiden Walton led the way for the victors from full back, repelling any attacks from Warriors, while he found good support in Hugh Toner and Jack Driscoll further up the ground.
While Mounties were taller and stronger, Warriors showed excellent persistence, with Kade Bohner seeing plenty of action, along with Tim Hargreaves and Bailee Turner.
Captain Flynn Jamieson booted four goals to lead his team to the 5.8 (38) to 0.2 (2) victory.
In the other match of round five, the third placed Rovers were unable to close the gap on Bombers in second position, who scored a 35-point win.
Luke Briggs’ game at centre half back was the highlight for Bombers, with the defender feeding runners including Ryan Weppner and Archie Conboy very well.
Rovers were best served by Ben Hammerstein and Liam Davey in the backline, and Reece Kettle and Ethan Summers through the midfield.
