Harricks will compete in the special Anzac Day match as part of the All-Stars Australian Defence Force team (ADF) a combination of navy, army and air force officers which will face the combined Australian Emergency Service (ACES) side.
Harricks has been part of the Royal Australian Navy for two years after completing rigorous training at HMAS Cerberus in November 2013, the primary training establishment which is located on the Mornington Peninsula, south of Melbourne.
The 24-year-old has just returned from a five month deployment on HMAS Choules, which included 'Operation Render Safe' a joint exercise that included travelling to Bougainville in Papua New Guinea to clear many unexploded mines from World War II, as well as patrolling the boarders around Australia.
His tour of duty has also included a six month deployment in Darwin, while he is currently serving a two year posting in Sydney.
After playing all his football with the Rats, Harricks has continued his love of the game in the navy.
While training at Cerberus he won their best and fairest in 2013 and has also gone on to play with UTS BATS in the premier division of Sydney's AFL league, under coach and former Sydney Swans' player Nick Fosdike.
Harricks, a tough defender, was also picked to represent the navy in the annual Australian Defence Force Australian Rules carnival last month, which saw the side take out the ADFAR Cup the first time in about six years.
Bradley is the son of Ararat residents Richard and Karen Harricks.
