The Clubbers constructed a good total last week making 183 and if they can restrict the home side to less than that then they will move into third place.
While several of the Youth Club batsmen got started, only Jamie Solyom went on to make a big score before being dismissed on 57.
Having already made a start, Aradale will be hoping Andrew and Riley Wood can get themselves in for a second time and occupy the crease for a large portion of the innings.
Runs were hard to come by in the first innings, which could potentially see Aradale lose patience as the day progresses and start going for the bigger shots.
Defending a decent total on a wicket where runs are difficult to score will allow the Youth Club bowlers to have an attacking mindset from the first delivery.
Travis Horvatek has been in good form with the bat and will be needed again tomorrow if Aradale is to chase down the set total.
Pomonal will have its work cut out when it starts the first innings against Swifts/Great Western.
Last week the Combine batted all day and did it with ease as they produced one of the bigger totals of this season to date.
Scoring 322 for the loss of just seven wickets, Swifts/Great Western dominated proceedings and on the back of that performance would be expected to take outright points.
If the home team is to take the maximum ten points on offer from the round it will be the second time they have done so this year and will consolidate top position weeks out from finals.
Tom Eckel led all scorers after smashing 71 in a short period of time and will look to take that confidence into his bowling.
For the Tigers, Lee Oliver bowled well, taking three wickets and the all-rounder will also want to make an impression with the bat.
Buangor will be hot on the heels of the Combine as it also chases a second outright win of the season against Chalambar.
Buangor wasted no time dismissing the visitors for just 120 and was able to lead at the end of day one.
Despite the best efforts of Chally pacemen Josh Bywaters, Jake Robinson and Luke Walker, Buangor managed to completely wipe off the deficit, for a loss of only three wickets during the 31 overs.
Buangor will no doubt look to make quick runs to extend the buffer before sending Chalambar back in.
Jack Ganley will be the key wicket for Chally as he resumes on 68 not out, with Chris Jerram on six set to join him in the centre.
