There were no surprises in the results from round six with ladder positions remaining unchanged.
The top three teams of Willaura White, Tatyoon and Willaura Black all had victories over lower placed teams Buangor, Ararat and Lake Bolac respectively.
Buangor got off to a great start with Tim Hartwich and Sophie Dyer taking the first set from the Millear sisters, Kate and Louise six games to three however that was the end of their winning streak with Willaura White coming home strongly to claim the remaining three sets and the four points.
The match between Ararat and Tatyoon also got off to an exciting start with Ararat's Nathaniel Kuchel and Clare Burmester combining well to give Tatyoon's Archie Conboy and James Philips a real scare in the first set.
In the end it didn't go Ararat's way with Conboy and Philips winning the set 7-5.
Tatyoon went on to win the remaining sets, giving it a 4-0 victory and consolidating second position on the ladder.
After losing its last two matches Willaura Black found form again in the clash against Lake Bolac.
Willaura Black's Scott Evans and Toby Vallance also had a close set against Holly and Maddy Phillips from Lake Bolac. Evans and Valance managed to hold on for the win 7-5.
Willaura Black then went on to record a comfortable victory also claiming all four sets.
This week's matches will finally see a showdown between the top two teams on the ladder Willaura White and Tatyoon.
In the first round Willaura White received a forfeit from Tatyoon when it was unable to field a team.
The two sides should play out a close match and it will be interesting to see who gets across the line.
In other match-ups Willaura Black will play Buangor at Willaura and Ararat will have another home game against Lake Bolac Both should be close games too.
