It certainly was cold yesterday morning with a big frost sweeping through the town. Today will be cloudy with areas of rain. Light winds becoming northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the early afternoon then becoming light in the evening. Overnight temperatures fell to around 5 and we should reach around 11 today.
Around Ararat Today:
11am: The Ararat Regional Library will be celebrating Playgroup Library Week with a pop-up playgroup session, with different activity areas such as blocks, books, baby toys and pretend play for ages 0-4.
12pm: Victorian Minister for Water, Peter Walsh will launch a detailed flood investigation for the region including new mapping at the Ararat SES Headquarters.
1.15pm: Victorian Minister for Children and Early Childhood Development, Wendy Lovell will officially open the extension of the Ararat North Kinder Care.
