Weather:

Cloudy today with scattered showers throughout. We should reach a top of about 12, which has become the norm. Over the weekend we will see bitterly cold conditions tomorrow - just a top of 9 - with wet weather footy assured, while showers will clear on Sunday for a top of 11

Coming up this Weekend:

Saturday: Launch of Ararat Active8 will take place at the Ararat YMCA from 9am with a free mass workout.

V/Line celebrates 10 years of service in Ararat with a sausage sizzle at the Ararat Train Station from 10.15am.

Sunday: Farmer's Market and Trash n Treasure to take place at the Alexandra Hall from 9am-1pm.

The Ararat Storm Girls' Football Club plays its second home match of the Ballarat Youth Girls' season at Richardson Oval, beginning at 1.30pm.

Trains:

Coaches are replacing trains between Melbourne and Ballarat until Tuesday July 15. Trains will continue to operate between Ballarat and Ararat/Maryborough. Ballarat trains will no longer stop at North Melbourne station from July 16.
