What's on around Ararat today:

Matt Daniels will have a well earned rest in Ararat today as part of a stop over on the MD Road Warrior challenge. Mr Daniels is attempting to complete a 760km run (equivalent of more than 18 marathons) over 12 days as part of his efforts to raise $25,000 for the Breast Cancer Network Australia. Mr Daniels will spend the night camping at Green Hill Lake as he makes his way from Adelaide to Geelong.

After yesterday's afternoon storm that rolled in about 4pm and blackened the sky we can expect a couple more showers again today. We will get to a top of 16 degrees after an over night temperature of 9.
